Keith Kirkland and Villis Marshall Awards
These awards are presented for the best presentations by SET Urology trainees in the Keith Kirkland/Villis Marshall session at the Annual Scientific Meeting. The Keith Kirkland Award is for the best presentation of a study with research endpoints having a direct clinical impact/related to individual patient care and the Villis Marshall Award is for the best presentation of a study undertaken by a full-time research trainee or a study in which epidemiological, economic or basic science/translational content are the primary outcomes examined The podium presentation, scientific content, and discussion constitute judging for the awards. The prize consists of a cash prize of $1,000 from USANZ and an AUF Travelling Fellowship to the value of $2500 to present their work overseas. We extend our gratitude to AUF for its generosity with this Award.
Alban Gee Award
This is an award provided by USANZ for the best poster by a USANZ Member (including SET Urology Trainees) at the Annual Scientific Meeting. The prize consists of a cash prize of $500 from USANZ.
This award is provided by USANZ for the Best Scientific Podium presentation by a Full Member of USANZ at the Annual Scientific Meeting. The recipient’s name will be engraved on the BAUS Trophy alongside the names of all previous BAUS prize recipients. This award also includes complimentary registration to attend the BAUS Annual Meeting the following year (e.g. awarded at 2019 ASM, for attendance at 2020 BAUS meeting). The prize can only be redeemed for the BAUS Annual Meeting.
The Platinum Trophy will be presented for the best endeavour presented at the meeting by a Full Member of USANZ. The prize includes a Trophy and free registration for the 2020 ASM.
Young Investigator Award
The Young Investigator Award is for the best podium presentation in the field of Female and Functional Urology presented at the annual meeting where the Principal Investigator of the project is within 10 years of receiving their FRACS and must be a full member of USANZ. The award is $10,000 cash to aid in further research or dissemination of research.
Low-Arnold Award in Female or Functional Urology
This award is for the best podium or poster presentation in the field of Female or Functional Urology presented at the meeting by a Full Member of USANZ.
